This course is designed to give you a biblical, theological, missiological, and practical introduction to the ministry of church growth and revivals. It also analyze the theological foundations, historical development, and leadership styles of revivalist and their significance in continued church renewal

• Describe principles that lead to church growth.

• Describe and explain the various strategies used in church planting.

• Appreciate Historical developments from the Reformation, Pentecostal Charismatic to the present era.

This course is a full introduction to ministering prophetically and a good starting point for anyone who desires to flow in Prophetic Ministry. It examines he function and importance of prophecy in the Old and New Testaments, its operation in the public space as well as excesses. Also, it will focus on the experiences of prophetic people and a study of the ministry of prophecy throughout the history of the Church.

Course Objectives:

At the end of the course, students should be able to:

• Distinguish between Old Testament prophets and prophecy from the New Testament 

• Identify the excesses in the operation of the prophetic gift.

• Identify the proliferation of New Age Spirituality and Syncretism

• Identify qualifications for being used in the gift of prophecy; that is, who may prophecy.

• Recognize and deal with challenges in interpreting signs, tokens, etc.

This course provides an exposure to current opportunities, tools, and platforms available in the current media and technology space. It provides an opportunity to learn to use available resources in churches setting and in Christian organizations. Moreover, how these can be an avenue to leveraged for Christian ministry.
