Anniversary Highlights: 25 Years of Transformation

25 Years of Impact

As we celebrate our 25th Anniversary, we reflect on a remarkable journey of growth, impact, and transformation. Over the past two and a half decades, Living Faith Theological Seminary has achieved significant milestones that have shaped our institution and empowered countless lives.

1995 - The Epitome of Living Faith Theological Seminary

Our journey began in 1995, during a three-day crusade in Wa, Upper West Region of Ghana. Led by Reverend F. W. K. Akufo and Pastor Adidefeli, with guest minister Bishop (Dr) Billy Ferg from the USA, the event sparked remarkable conversions despite disruption by local protests due to the growing number of Muslim-to-Christian conversions.

Amidst this backdrop, a prophetic message was delivered by Bishop Ferg during a stop in Kumasi. This prophecy laid the foundation for what is now Living Faith Theological Seminary, celebrating 25 years of impact.

"This land Kumasi shall produce and train ministers that will lead in the advancement of the Kingdom of God globally." – Bishop Dr. Billy Ferg

In response, Reverend F. W. K. Akufo approached Reverend (Dr) Peter Wilson, our President, at Tepa, seeking to fulfill this prophecy. With prayerful consideration, the call was accepted, leading to the birth, registration, and accreditation of our school, fulfilling Bishop Ferg's prophecy. - Culled from JOURNEY OF FAITH wrtten by Apostle Dr Peter Wilson

1997/1998 - Inception and Growth

In 1998, our first seven graduates marked the inception. Overcoming financial obstacles and accommodation constraints, our purpose to train, certify, ordain, and consecrate ministers remained unswerving. The Accra campus emerged in 2010, although challenges like unsuitable surroundings and limited accommodation were met head-on, propelled by Habakkuk 2:2-3. - Culled from JOURNEY OF FAITH wrtten by Apostle Dr Peter Wilson

2019 - Global Footprints

Extending our reach, South African campuses in Pretoria North and Britz were established. Challenges of non-indigenous environments were surmounted, and graduates from Botswana, Namibia, Nigeria, Kenya, and more were ordained and consecrated. Our graduate school emerged in 2019, offering Bachelor's to doctoral programs. - Culled from JOURNEY OF FAITH wrtten by Apostle Dr Peter Wilson

2020 - 2022: Adapting and Evolving

The COVID-19 pandemic of 2020 triggered restructuring and rebranding, enhancing adaptability while retaining our mission. With international accreditation, we've globally graduated 8,000+ students as of 2022, across a spectrum of programs.

Celebrating 25 Years

As we commemorate our silver jubilee, we honor God's faithfulness, the fulfillment of prophecies, and the tireless dedication that has made Living Faith Theological Seminary an institution of transformation. From humble beginnings to global impact, the journey continues with gratitude, purpose, and a commitment to equipping ministers who lead and advance the Kingdom of God.

Join us in celebrating 25 years of a transformative journey that has empowered individuals, communities, and nations.
